Oral presentations (General track full papers and special session papers)
Your presentation slot is 15 minutes, consisting of 13 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for questions and speaker transition.
For short papers in special sessions, the slot duration is 10 minutes, consisting of 8 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for questions and speaker transition.
Before the conference, for full papers, please:
- Prepare for a presentation of a maximum of 13 minutes.
- Keep in mind readability from a distance (across a typical lecture hall) when choosing font types and sizes (recommended minimum: 20pt). Your presentation will be projected.
- Choose color spaces and contrasts with respect to visual impairments (e.g. color-blindness).
- Specify the presenter of the paper in EDAS.
- Provide/update your (brief) CV in EDAS.
At the conference, please:
- Present yourself to the Session Chair at least 15 minutes before the session starts.
- Prepare your talk such that you will end on time. Session chairs will be advised to keep to a strict timing.
- You will have to upload your presentation before the start of the corresponding session to a shared folder that will be indicated during the conference.
- Using your own computer should be avoided as much as possible, as troubleshooting following switching presentation computers can eat up valuable presentation time and affect the flow of the session, and thus the receptivity of your listeners.
- You might want to test-run your presentation on a different computer than yours in order to see that it works, in particular if you have audio or video embedded.
