Travel Grants

Cardiff, UK, June 29th - July 3rd, 2026

QoMEX 2026 - Quality of Multimedia Experience Meets Machine Intelligence

Travel grants will be available to support attendance at the conference and encourage participation from a diverse international community. These grants are intended to reduce financial barriers and make it easier for researchers to participate in the event.

All participants who identify as belonging to marginalized and/or underrepresented groups within the research community are warmly encouraged to apply. We also welcome applications from participants who may face financial constraints or have limited access to institutional or external funding sources that would otherwise support conference attendance. In line with the conference’s commitment to broad global representation, particular consideration will be given to participants from regions that are currently underrepresented in QoMEX. The application is open to individuals at all career levels.

If applications exceed the available budget, priority may be given to applicants with accepted papers.

Each application should be sent to all Diversity/Inclusion chairs (l.atzori@unica.it, shiqwang@cityu.edu.hk, sara.srebot@fer.hr) with the subject line “QoMEX 2026 diversity travel grant application”.
